The **Gerber Straightlace**  is a modern slipjoint pocket knife. Striking is the excellent price-quality ratio. In this range it will be difficult to find a comparable knife, for an even better price. The design is distinctive and colourful. You open the Gerber Straightlace with two hands. When opened a slipjoint provides resistance against unintentional closing. However, it won't completely block. As such you can legally carry the Gerber Straightlace in many places.

 With a 7.2 cm blade you have enough reach to carry out many daily tasks. Opening a box, peeling an apple or as a practical tool while working in or around the house: the Straightlace can do it all. The blade is made from polished 7Cr17MoV-steel. A stainless type of steel you can easily sharpen yourself. The handle is made from a combination of aluminium with plastic colour accents.

 All in all the Gerber Straightlace is one of the most interesting slipjoints in our range. A very cool pocket knife for an amazing price.

Très beau couteau gentlemen. Les finitions sont parfaites. En voyant le prix, je l'ai commandé sans hésiter. Affuté comme un rasoir , il est très performant lors du casse-croute. Un seul adjectif à retenir .. élégance.

I chose this gentleman's knife for my husband with a sense of budget, usability, feel in the hand and overall asethetic appeal all in mind. This knife has to be right there, already in his hand and entirely serviceable, or it won't be used. So far so perfect - we both love the look and weight when you hold it, and it's already seeing use in everyday circumstances. It's stylish in a mid-20th-century way and really fits the bill perfectly. 

Mooi glad afgewerkt mes met bruikbaar formaat. Voelt degelijk, hoewel de rood-witte decoratie qua fit en materiaalkeuze uit de toon valt. De slipjoint houdt het mes voldoende stevig in geopende stand, maar heeft ook een "tussenstand" als het lemmet haaks op het heft staat. Zo zal het mes minder makkelijk onbedoeld in een keer dichtklappen, maar bij openen van het mes moet je dus ook rekening houden met die tussenstap.

Magnifique couteau de poche, ne quitte plus ma poche. Seul reproche cette manie de mettre systématiquement un clip à tous les couteaux. J'ai bien essayé de l'enlever mais ça laisse un trou pas très joli, il aurait été judicieux de mettre une deuxième pièce métallique pour le boucher.
