The **Fontenille Pataud L12G** is a stunning Laguiole knife. Made in Thiers according to French tradition. The perfect knife to cut a piece of steak, peel an apple or simply to admire.

It doesn't contain a real lock, merely a slipjoint. The knife will not close unexpectedly during normal use, but it opens and closes more heavily than the models with a back-lock. When you close it you slowly need to drop the blade in the handle. Don't slam it! If you do that the blade will hit the inside spring. That is the traditional, French construction. As it should be!

This Fontenille Pataud L12 is enhanced with a 12C27 steel blade. A Swedish type of steel specifically developed for knives. Stainless and thin. As such it is amazing to use. You open it with two hands. The handle is made from juniper wood. A stunning type of wood with an extensive pattern. Please note: this is a natural product. It makes each knife unique.

als het gaat om Laguiole messen dan is dit merk wel de beste wat mij betreft. En inderdaad het hout ruikt ongelooflijk lekker en is dus toch zeker een meerwaarde omdat het ook er mooi uitziet.

Wunderschön verarbeitet,  liegt super in der Hand und sehr stabil/robust gebaut.  Die Fliege funktioniert sehr gut und hakt zuverlässig ein. Ein tolles Geschenk.  

Wat een mooi mes! Prachtige afwerking, mooi hout (dat ook nog eens lekker ruikt) en een fijne handligging. Het in- en uitklappen van het mes gaat heel soepel en beheerst. 
Super service van Knives and Tools. Ik bestelde het mes aan het eind van de middag, met een gravure, en had het de volgende dag al in huis. Het was een cadeautje voor mijn man en hij was er ontzettend blij mee. 

Absolut &#128077;. Sehr gut verarbeitet, liegt gut in der Hand. Tolles messer, schnelle Lieferung. 

Fantastisch mooi mes, vooral het houten heft met zijn lichte kleur.
Handgemaakt, er staat een stempel op het lemmet;Gilles, dat zal dan de maker wel zijn, merci Gilles!
