This **Fiskars Pro IsoCore XXL splitting maul** is a large maul with a lot of impact force. With a head of 3600 grams, it is quite heavy but still manageable thanks to its length. Perfect for splitting large pieces of wood. The axe has a splitting head and a hammer head, for example to hammer in wedges and posts. The head is riveted to the steel in a rock-solid construction. 

## IsoCore Shock Control: 50% less strain

The handle is made from multiple layers of polymer. As a result, this axe reduces the strain on your body from shock and vibration by 50% compared to wooden handles. The handle also has a rubbery non-slip grip, so the axe does not slip out of your hand.

Cela faisait un moment que je voulais me racheter un Merlin digne de ce nom. Attiré par le côté esthétique de l'outil, il n' en demeure que celui ci est très efficace. Son poid ainsi que l'ergonomie de son manche permettent aisément de venir à bout des bûches les plus coriaces. Il est relativement confortable à l'usage et malgré son poids sa conception fait qu'il n'est pas trop fatiguant à utiliser. Un achat que je ne regrette pas en tout cas.

J'ai décidé d'acheter cette merlin Fiskars Pro IsoCore XXL avec quelques hésitations, mais après avoir fendu pour 4 stères de bois, je dois avouer qu'elle remplie parfaitement ses fonctions. J'avais peur du manche en carbone, mais il est vraiment résistant et réduit les impacts. Le prix est élevé, mais la qualité est là. Il s'agit de ma première commande chez KNIVES AND TOOLS et tout s'est très bien passé avec une livraison en 3 jours ! je n'hésiterai pas à recommander des articles chez ce vendeur.
