This **Fiskars Pro IsoCore S splitting maul** is a handy maul with a lot of impact force. With a head of 1100 grams, it is quite heavy for such a short axe. Ideal for splitting small logs and making kindling. The axe has a splitting head and a hammer head, for example to hammer in wedges and posts. The head is riveted to the steel in a rock-solid construction. 

## IsoCore Shock Control: 50% less strain

The handle is made from multiple layers of polymer. As a result, this axe reduces the strain on your body from shock and vibration by 50% compared to wooden handles. The handle also has a rubbery non-slip grip, so the axe does not slip out of your hand.

Kleine kloofhamer die ik aangeschaft heb om mijn gekochte gedroogde hout wat vaak wat te grof/groot is voor onze kachel makkelijker en sneller wat klein te kunnen kloven (ipv de grote kloofbijl en het hakblok). Kloofhamer ligt lekker in de hand en is zwaar zat voor deze klus; gebruikt op beuken en eikenhout. Dreunt niet door je pols en arm. Echt een super fijne kloofhout voor het kleinere werk.
