The **Fällkniven U2 Elmax** is a lightweight, high-quality slipjoint pocket knife. The blade is made from Elmax steel, a Swedish type of powder steel. Elmax is known for its excellent corrosion resistance and the fact that it stays sharp for a really long time. You open the Fällkniven U2 Elmax with two hands and a solid back lock keeps the blade in place. The handle is made from an extremely strong plastic composite called Grilon. It is lightweight and comfortable to hold.

Dieses Messer habe ich von meinem besten Freund geschenkt bekommen. Seither ist es mir 3 mal geklaut worden. Das Messer ist so gut, praktisch und scharf, dass es jeder haben will. Der Preis hält viele ab, aber wenn man es klauen kann....

Een jaar of tien geleden heb ik een U2 en TK4 aangeschaft. Deze messen veel gedragen en ook gebruikt. Toen kwamen de Chinezen op de markt met allerlei mooi spul. De Fallknivens min of meer vergeten....
Op een bepaald moment heb je een enorme berg Chinees spul en kom je je ouwe U2 weer tegen. Topkwaliteit zonder allerlei frills. Toch maar een U2 in elmax erbij. Geen seconde spijt. Niet goedkoop maar zonder toeters en bellen, geen lagers, flippers en andere trala. Gewoon een zakmes zoals een zakmes moet zijn, simpel en robuust. Vrees dat de Chinezen in de kast blijven :-).  Zelf een pocketclip eraan gemonteerd, zou Fallkniven moeten doen, dan was het leven helemaal perfect. Dus wil je gewoon een goed simpel zakmes met een toplemmet : U2 (of TK4)
