 Its chopping ability is excellent and the knife is extremely well-balanced.  

The well made leather handle darkens with age, acquiring a beautiful patina the more the knife is used.

I somewhat expected a large and heavy, showy knife with limited practicality. But that couldn't be farther from the truth: it is surprisingly light and nimble, extremely well-balanced and without doubt made to perform. Needless to say it is marvelously beautiful and comes with an equally nice leather sheath. A knife worthy of its name.

Dit grote Fällkniven-mes uit de Northern Light-serie is net iets beter hanteerbaar dan zijn grote broer (NL1) en daarmee een geweldig stuk gereedschap. VG10 is goed zelf te slijpen, dus ook dat is ideaal. De leren sheath is pure degelijkheid. Wie een niet te duur mes van grote kwaliteit wil, moet aan Fällkniven denken Eén van de 5 messen uit de Northern Light-serie moet haast altijd voldoen!
