The **Demko Knives Shark-Cub** was created in response to fans' demand for a smaller, more compact pocket knife. The Shark-Cub is equipped with the innovative Shark Lock mechanism. This state-of-the-art technology is user-friendly and very popular among knife fans. With its smaller size and deep-carry pocket clip, the Shark-Cub is ideal for EDC use.

## Shark-Cub blade
The blade is made from CPM 20CV steel. This is a premium type of powdered steel, which means that the steel has a very fine structure. This steel retains its sharpness well and is easy to sharpen. CPM 20CV is also very corrosion resistant.

The slicershark blade shape is a combination of a sharkfoot and drop-point blade shape. It's the best of both worlds; perfect for opening packages or cutting rope. In short, this knife is suitable for a wide range of daily cutting tasks.

## Shark-Lock mechanism
The Shark Lock mechanism is located at the spine of the knife and is operated through the fin-shaped protrusion or ramp, to which the lock owes its name.
By opening the blade, the lock moves up a bit, after which a spring presses it into an indent in the tang of the blade.  This indentation of the blade is located below a secondary stop pin, causing the lock to clamp itself between the blade and the pin. This ensures a super-tough lock. You disable the lock by pulling the Shark Lock backwards. The mechanism is very smooth, so the knife has a high fidget-factor.

## Shark-Cub handle
This version is made from G10, a composite material made from glass fibres and epoxy resin. This material is durable, strong and lightweight, and it's resistant to moisture, chemicals and extreme temperatures.

You carry the Shark-Cub in your pocket with the deep-carry pocket clip. A cool little detail is the pivot screw. On the show side it says 'Demko Knives', and on the clip side it says 'Wampum PA'. Wampum is the city in Pennsylvania where Demko Knives is located. 'PA' is the abbreviation of Pennsylvania.

## Demko Knives Shark-Cub made in Taiwan
The Shark-Cub knives are made in Taiwan. This allows Demko to keep the pricing low, without having to compromise on production quality.

## About Demko Knives
Andrew Demko is the founder and owner of Demko Knives. He found his calling in 1988 when he started out blacksmithing chisels. His passion for the trade soon led to knife making. Andrew's passion for engineering and attention to detail stood out. At Cold Steel, Andrew made his mark by designing some of the most innovative and powerful locking mechanisms in the industry. This includes the legendary Tri-Ad-Lock, the Scorpion Lock, and later for his own brand: the Shark Lock. Haarscherp uit de verpakking en loopt “butter smooth”, het slot is stevig en makkelijk te bedienen. 

Ik heb middelgrote handen en het mes past perfect in mijn hand en overigens ook in mijn broekzak.

Het is daarnaast ook zeer “fidget friendly”

Demko è un grande knife maker inventore dei blocchi più innovativi ,granitici e sicuri. Tra i più celebri spicca il tri-ad-lock adoperato sui Cold steel. Con l'apertura della sua azienda Demko ha realizzato un nuovo blocco lo shark lock. Divertente, sicuro si può usare sua per aprire che disimpegnare la lama, fluido, irrequieto, veloce ma soprattutto sicuro per le dita senza rinunciare a una robustezza dell'utente. Lo Shark cub o cucciolo di squalo è la versione più piccola, leggera edc dei coltelli proposti da Demko. Coltello divertente, tagliente come un bisturi, acciaio di alta fascia, manicatura in g10 super grippante. Ergonomico, comodo con clip da tasca a scomparsa. Veramente bello e a differenza dei modelli maggiori (ad20.5-ad20) ha una lama più sottile che lo rendono un'affettarice eccezionale. Soddisfatto dell'acquisto e ottimo edc dal prezzo abbordabile. Knives and tools fattomi arrivare in tempi record!

Top kwaliteit! Kan er werkelijk niets negatiefs over schrijven. Scherpste mes wat ik ooit ontvangen heb! Zo enthousiast geworden over het mes dat ik daarna de 20.5 in Sharkfoot en de 20.5 in Titanium besteld heb! 

Vraiment excellent et très bien fini, bon trancheur, sa taille est parfaite, c'est marrant comme on l'a bien en main, voila mon nouveau EDC et j'en suis vraiment content. Par contre comme mes autres Demko, j'ai changé le ressort.
