As the name indicates, the CRKT Fossil Small is the little brother of the CRKT Fossil. Flavio Ikoma has made a design which slightly reminds of an invincible, stainless steel T-rex. The Fossil Small therefore offers a beautiful combination of power and design.
  
  

The Fossil pocket knife is equipped with the IKBS ball bearing system and a flipper. This allows smooth opening, nearly without friction. When the blade is open, the flipper serves as finger protection. The handle is very recognizable because of the stainless steel with hammered finish. The G-10 scales provide a good grip. 
  
  

The sturdy frame lock and the practical pocket clip make this knife ideal for Every Day Carry.

Het mes viel me meteen op. Niet al te groot, een stevig lemmet en een strak handvat waar mijn hand een goed houvast aan heeft. Het openen gaat gladjes door de kogellagers. De vergrendeling werkt uitstekend. Daarbij is het mes  scherp en makkelijk te onderhouden. Echt een mes voor dagelijks gebruik.

La lame est jolie et verrouille assez bien. Le manche est plutôt original et tien bien en main. Dans l’ensemble ce CRKT n’est n’y trop gros, n’y trop petit avec des finitions toute à fait correcte pour le prix .
Un beau petit couteau pour le quotidien
