The **Condor Mini Hudson Bay Knife 2816-4.9HC** is a solid fixed knife, based on the classic Hudson Bay knives. In the nineteenth century these types of knives were widely used in the south of Canada. Around the Hudson Bay, as the name might already suggest.

 Even though the name is 'Mini' Hudson Bay, the knife is, with a 12.5 cm blade still relatively large. The blade thickness of approximately 4.8 mm is also quite substantial. It is an all-round camping knife. To build a fire or perhaps even shelter.

 This knife is made for all-round outdoor use. The blade is enhanced with a flat grind. The edge is remarkable: It has a primary scandi grind, but with a convex finish. This is also called a 'scandivex'. As such you can benefit from the advantages of a scandi and convex grind at the same time. Great for wood work.

 The blade of the Condor Mini Hudson Bay Knife is made from 1075 carbon steel. A strong type of steel that is easy to sharpen and can handle quite a bit. 1075, however, is not completely stainless. As such you need to clean it regularly and add a drop of oil once in a while. The knife has a strong full-tang construction. This means that the thickness of the blade runs throughout the entire handle.

 The handle is made from walnut wood. The scales are secured with brass pins. It takes care of the classic look and feel. The hammered blade also contributes to this.

 The Condor Mini Hudson Bay Knife comes in a traditional leather sheath with a belt loop that has enough room for belts up to 5.3 cm.

Muy bien pero le falta cabo , 1,5/2 cm más le irían muy biem

Outre l'arrivé en temps et en heur, le couteau ce veux solide et, le temps me la dira, mais a mon avis resistant sur le temps. Le tranchant est bon et en ce qui concerne la prise en main, quoique un peu court le manche est plaisant a prendre en main. beau style et qui permet de coupé tout type de bois ou meme de se servir de son dos afin de gratter un allume feu. couteau de tres bonne qualité je recommande. Le fourreau est quand a lui plus que correcte puisqu'il suis les mouvements et reste fort confortable.


Prachtig mes! Voelt goed in de hand en is vlijmscherp. Ook de afwerking is netjes gedaan, een goed en stevig mes voor een leuke prijs!

Petit frère de l’Hudson Bay, ce couteau est tout aussi efficace. Malgré un manche un peu court, il offre un tranchant redoutable pour effectuer les petites tâches. Un peu d’huile de lin pour nourrir le bois du manche, un séchage minutieux de la lame après usage et un peu d’huile ou de graisse pour prévenir de l’oxydation et vous aurez un couteau fiable et durable. L’affûtage est aisé, l’étui très fonctionnel offre une excellente rétention. Pour le prix il est aussi bon que certains couteaux de marques très chères. Je recommande.
