The **Cold Steel Click N Cut 40A** is an innovative fixed knife, with interchangeable blade. As such you can decide which blade will suit your work best. The knife comes with a droppoint, wharncliffe, and a wharncliffe with serrations. The latter two look a little like the Stanley knives everyone has been before. But with a thicker blade and therefore also stronger.



Such a system with interchangeable blades only works if the blade is properly secured. Fortunately Cold Steel knows what it is doing! They used their famous and rock-solid Tri-Ad-Lock as a basis. Because of this back lock you can easily unlock the blade and add another blade to the handle. Anyone familiar with the Cold Steel knives knows that at that moment your blade won't simply be released from the handle after that.



Those interchangeable blades are incredibly practical if you carry out different tasks on one day. Take the pointed wharncliffe blade to work with plasterboard, the serrated version when you need to tackle carpets and the droppoint to end the day with a nicely cut snack!



The blades won't do you any good if you don't keep them close. That is why Cold Steel enhanced the Clic N Cut with a good sheath you can use to store your knife and two additional blades.

This is a great general purpose knife with interchangeable blades making it perfect for anyone who works in a practical industry. I have not yet needed to use the alternate blades but the fact that it has them is most useful. The blades seem to hold their edge well though I have not had them long enough or used them enough to know exactly.
