The **Civivi Qubit Button Lock Pink Aluminium** is a great EDC pocket knife. A true to friend to all! The round shapes and amazing movements will ensure that everyone will appreciate this knife. When opened, the blade is locked by a solid button lock. Open it by pressing the button and open the blade with a flick of the wrist. You can also open the blade with the thumb stud.

## Aluminium handle

The handle is made from high-quality aluminium with a nice colour. This knife is remarkably lightweight. Its light weight and rounded handle makes for a comfortable grip.

## 14C28N blade

Sandvik 14C28N. Quite a mouthful, isn't it? All you need to know, however, is that it is stainless and easy to sharpen. 14C28N is also pretty tough and retains its sharpness well. A great type of steel for a knife in this price range.

Prima; niet te duur om er niks mee te durven doen, en dun lemmet waarmee je alles kàn doen; groente snijden, hout kerven, splinters uit je hand opereren, overtollige lijm wegsnijden...
Licht en plat genoeg om altijd in je zak te dragen waar het toegestaan is. Uitstekende vervanger van mijn opinel, buck en homey, welke met twee handen moeten worden geopend. Roze, zodat ik hem makkelijker in het gras kan vinden tijdens kamperen.

Wat bevalt minder? Vreemd genoeg, de kogellager; tegelijk een vloek en een zegen. Kan open dankzij inertia, maar als er zand of veel stof tussen raakt zul je even moeten schoonmaken. Nog maar weinig gebeurd dat het echt stoort, maar hierdoor overweeg ik wel weer terug te gaan naar glijlagers. Misschien maak ik wel messing glijlagers voor dit exemplaar, voor mezelf.

Ik heb de duimopenhulpjes eraf geschroefd, dat ging gezwind met twee tangetjes, één aan elke kant. Niet nodig en in de weg.

Ik had ook liever geen flesopener gezien, al heb ik hem wel enkele keren gebruikt. Blijft soms hangen met in je zak steken; ik overweeg hem voorzichtig weg te slijpen. Voorzichtig, omdat de stop-pin ermee gemoeid is, in opengeklapte staat. Vanaf de stop-pin landingsplek is er geen structurele noodzaak voor het lemmet.

Ik zou er niet gedachteloos nog een kopen, maar ligt op het randje. Een directe vervangende optie weet ik ook zo gauw niet.

Leuk, praktisch en van goed kwaliteit, perfect als cadeau en niet intimiderend. 

Un de mes EDC favoris, très léger, très bien conçu, de taille idéale, avec une lame polyvalente qui se déploie en souplesse du pouce comme du majeur. Boutton lock sans accroc, prise en main excellente et clip de poche deep cary qui permet un port discret. Le Qubit est cependant un petit peu cher, comme c'est de plus en plus la tendance avec les Civivi ces derniers mois. Je trouve qu'il serait mieux placé à 10 ou 15 euros de moins, mais c'est quand même un must tellement ce couteau est original et bien conçu.

Très joli petit couteau EDC qui répond aux attentes, ce qui est souvent le cas avec Civivi. Là, le couteau respire la qualité et la forme de lame me plaît particulièrement.
