The **Casström No. 10 Swedish Forest Knife** is an amazing outdoor knife, made in Sweden. When you hold this knife you immediately notice the amazing ergonomics. This knife feels amazing in hand! The somewhat strange looking 'kink' in the handle contributes to a comfortable grip. Casström designed this knife as an all-round outdoor knife. Hunting, fishing, food prep, bushcraft: this knife can handle it all.


The blade is made from Swedish Sandvik 14C28N steel. Stainless and easy to sharpen. It also retains its sharpness well. This version is enhanced with a flat grind. As such it is a real *slicer* and better suited to cut food.


The handle is made from stunning Blue Maser Curly Birch. This is birch root wood, stabilized with blue resin. The result is a unique handle material with a natural, wooden character and artistic colour. A black liner is placed in between the wood and the handle.


The Casström No. 10 Swedish Forest Knife comes with a decent leather sheath. This sheath has a belt loop for belts up to (approximately) 6 cm.

De No 10 komt in 2 versies: een scandi grind en een veel dunnere flat grind.

De scandi grind is ideaal voor bushcraft werk maar de flat grind is een beetje te dun voor het zware werk. Het is echter de ideale keuze om mee te koken en werd ook om die reden aangekocht.
Dus zeer tevreden met mijn aankoop.

1 belangrijke opmerking: het handvat heeft eerder een groene kleur door de reactie van het hars en het hout maar dat is ook best mooi.

La lame ne souffre d'aucune corrosion et est très facile à aiguiser c'est un vrai rasoir...
Le manche incurvé est très agréable en main , le bouleau stabilisé est magnifique.
Le fourreau cuir est de très bonne qualité.
C'est un compagnon fiable et efficace je le recommande à 200%.
