The **Buck 112 Ranger Sport Pro Micarta** is a practical pocket knife for everyday use. It is made from top-quality materials and is a worthy carrier of the number 112.

The Buck 112 Ranger in its original form has been one of Buck's flagships for many years. The handle was originally made with brass and wood, but this 112 Ranger Sport Pro has a micarta handle with aluminium bolsters. These bolsters are a nice nod to the knife's classic predecessor. There is also the handy addition of a slim pocket clip so you can carry the pocket knife in your trouser pocket.

Another great thing about the Buck 112 Ranger Sport Pro is that a seriously solid steel has been used. The blade is now made from CPM S30V steel. This is a premium powder steel with excellent sharpness retention. What sets Buck apart from the competition that is using the same type of steel is its way of hardening the steel. They use the Paul Bos heat treatment recipe. He is a true master when it comes to optimizing performance.

You open the Buck 112 Ranger Sport Pro with one hand. Because there are thumb studs on both sides of the blade, you can easily open it either left-handed or right-handed. When opened, the blade is locked in place by a solid back lock. The locking mechanism that Buck in fact introduced to the world.

Très déçu par ce couteau, lame monté sur rondelle plastique. Fluidité à l’ouverture nul, soit vous avez du jeu soit la lame est trop serrée…système de blocage mal ajusté…même la lame a un défaut d’usinage…rapport qualité /prix nul

Nice weight (way lighter than classic 112), solid lock-up and very good fit & finish. Blade is nicely sharpened, with symmetrical grinds and no play. 9/10

Très bon couteau, respire la solidité. Il est compacte et trapu… aucun jeux avant et latéral, belle finition comme souvent pour les 112 et les 110 de cette gamme. Pas déçu et reste tout de même intéressant pour ce prix. 

Erstklassiges EDC Messer welches Top verarbeitet ist und bis jetzt hält was es verspricht. Für mich das Geld auf jeden Fall wert gewesen.
