The **Böker Plus Zenshin** is a modern interpretation of the classic Japanese Higonokami knife. But in the Böker Plus style. With a sleek finish and a solid construction.

This is the brass slipjoint version of the Zenshin. With a brass handle and slipjoint. The 42 version can only be opened with two hands. As such you can legally carry this knife almost anywhere. In Germany, for instance, where Böker is from. The blade is made from 440C-steel. A decent type of steel that is easy to sharpen.

The Böker Plus Zenshin is a practical and sympathetic pocket knife for daily use. From opening boxes to peeling an apple. But also as a gentleman's knife the Zenshin can handle its own.

A lovely little UK legal EDC. A good weight to it, but not too heavy for the pocket. I love the brass finish and I’m looking forward to it developing a nice patina in the fullness of time. Blade clicks open with a satisfying and assuring action, but it’s obviously not a locker. Nice and sharp right out of the box too. Not had it long enough to know how well it will hold its edge, but first impressions are certainly that it’s a fist class knife.
