## Blade made of Sandvik 12C27 steel
The blade is made of Sandvik 12C27 steel, a corrosion-resistant steel from Sweden that was specially developed for knives. It is a steel grade that strikes the perfect balance between toughness, ease of sharpening, corrosion resistance and sharpness retention.



The ‘stonewash’ process was chosen for the finish of this blade. The stonewash process involves the blade being placed inside a drum with ceramic stones, or media, and then vibrated or tumbled for several hours. The result is a finish that looks precisely polished or roughened depending on the version. The advantage of stonewashing, however, is that signs of use are much less noticeable. That makes it a popular choice for knives that see a lot of use.



## Micarta handle 
The handle of the Böker Plus M.U.K. 02BO593, fixed knife, Matthew Gentry design is made of micarta. This is a composite material made of fabric and synthetic resin. If you look closely, you can see a subtle texture on the surface, sometimes it looks almost like wood. This material is strong and stable, and it's very grippy.

Diseño increíble de GentryCustomKnives. La hoja es pequeña, pero eso es una gran ventaja, ya que no es una cuchilla para cortar leña, sino más bien una pequeña cuchilla de desollar o EDC para cortes pequeños y precisos. El mango de tamaño completo y dos ranuras ayudan mucho con esos cortes. En cuanto a la hoja, es perfecta, muy afilada y robusta.
La funda de Kydex es muy ajustada, así que no hay posibilidad de que la hoja se caiga.
Lo único que personalmente cambio es usar un clip horizontal para cinturón. Aunque incluye uno, es muy bueno; si la usas como cuchillo EDC, el montaje horizontal es menos molesto, ya que el mango no te pincha los costados al sentarte.

geiles teil für das geld, guter stahl, guter griff, die oberseite ist halt gerade abgeschnitten und dadurch optisch nicht so perfekt deshalb nicht ganz volle punkte aber es stört nicht beim greifen und alles in allem ist das messer ein zeichen dafür das es ja doch günstig geht, ein mittelklasse stahl aber für bushcraft gut bewehrt

A great wee knife from the Boker/Gentry collaboration.
It was put to work as soon as I got it on some roadkill badger a friend bought round, he wanted the pelt for a sporran and the MUK went to work admirably, it's precise, agile and robust and made quick work of the badger which can be a tough hide to skin, especially in winter.
The MUK exceeded my expectations and needed only a slight hone towards the tip to return it a razors edge.
Would definitely reccomend if you're looking for a great wee field knife or something different for EDC.
