The **Böker Plus LRF** is designed by Kansei Matsuno. A Japanese knife maker who also designed the Böker Plus Wasabi. Because of the success of the Wasabi Böker decided to once again join forces with Kansei Matsuno. The result? The LRF!

 The LRF is very slim in terms of shape, just like the Wasabi. When closed you can see two flipper mechanisms. A normal and a front flipper. Both options work well thanks to the perfect detent and the smooth ball bearings. The blade is made from VG-10 steel and enhanced with a hand-rubbed finish.

 This version of the LRF has a stunning cocobolo handle and comes with a leather lanyard. All in all another sleek Böker gentleman's knife.

Prima herenmesje. Niet te groot om in gezelschap te gebruiken😉. Linerlock goed ingesteld en loopt voortreffelijk op zn kogellagers. Kopkanten van de beschaling was erg scherp..verholpen met een fijn schuurpapiertje. Jammer dat de clip niet om te zetten is.

Mooi afgewerkt, minimalistisch en zeer licht herenmesje. Heeft een deep-carry clip, dus niet die van de foto. Erg mooi en functioneel, hoewel de lanyardhole op de achterzijde van het heft de deep-carry functie een beetje teniet doet. Dun, slicey en scheerscherp lemmet, ideaal voor appels, tomaten en enveloppen. Lemmet heeft geheel geen speling en het mesje voelt sowieso steviger aan dan verwacht. Flipper werkt goed en is lekker 'snappy', maar de front flipper is een stuk lastiger en pijnlijker om te gebruiken, want beide flippers zijn aan alle randen scherp. Net te klein om in lunchroom of restaurant de botte (kartel)messen te vervangen, daarvoor heb ik de Urban Trapper. Heb na mijn ervaring met dit mesje, ook de Boker Plus Takara van dezelfde ontwerper gekocht. Hier werkt de front flipper een stuk beter.
De snelheid en service van Knivesandtools zijn inmiddels vanzelfsprekend!
