The **Böker Magnum Shadow** is a lightweight pocket knife for everyday use. You open the knife with the thumb stud. The blade opens smoothly and when opened, it is kept in place by a liner lock.

## Böker Magnum Shadow blade

The blade is made from 440A steel with a black coating. This type of steel doesn't retain its sharpness for a super long time, but this is compensated by the fact that 440A is incredibly tough. As a result, it won't break easily during heavy jobs, and it's easy to sharpen. In practice this means that you have to do a little maintenance regularly, so you always have a sharp knife with you. 

## Böker Magnum Shadow handle

The handle is made from black aluminium. Cutouts in the handle save extra weight and give the knife a tactical look.

Het was even uitvinden hoe hij werkt. Het is zeer fijne handige mes voor het klussen.

The perfect knife for me. Light weight. Pocket size, easy to operate. Sturdy and strong. A great knife.

Comme pour tous mes couteaux je voulais le demonter pour un graissage/huilage mais impossible d'enlever les vis du manche. Se deteriorent tres vite car de basse qualite (chinoise).
Impossible aussi d'enlever l'axe de pivot de la lame. WTF !!!???
Bagues d'axe de lame en nylon. Pas de roulements a bille.
Couteau tres leger, utile pour couper un saucisson ou une baguette de pain mais pas pour un usage camping intense.
Tranchant de lame OK, mais sans plus.
En bref : fabrication de qualite chinoise moyenne. Seul le nom est allemand et rien d'autre.
Seul point fort : sa legerete. C'est peu pour 20 euros. Un Opinel ferait mieux.
J'ai vu mieux pour le meme prix et je ne recommande pas l'achat de ce couteau.
