The **Böker Barlow** is a classic slipjoint. A real traditional for daily tasks. These types of knives are popular amongst people who love to carry around a larger pocket knife. Not because this knife is so big, but because this knife can easily be carried alongside a bigger knife for the ‘cleaner’ tasks like making a sandwich or peeling an apple.


The handle on the Burlow is made from grenadil wood. A dark tropical type of wood with a luxurious look and feel. The large steel bolster gives the knife a little contrast, very nice.


The blade is made from stainless N690 steel. In real *traditional* style the blade has a stunning clippoint shape. You open it with two hands and when opened the slipjoint will firmly keep the blade in place. Please note: it won’t completely block the blade like a backlock would.

Ein Grundsolides, wunderschönes kleines Messer, jedoch stimmt die Klingen-Zentrierung nicht ganz und die "Slipjoint-Feder" steht bei geöffnetem Zustand ca. einen halben Millimeter hervor. Mich stört es persönlich aber nicht :) Alles in allem ein Tolles Gentleman Messer.

"Klapt" goed dicht, beetje hetzelfde gevoel als met een zippo :D
Patina komt er mooi op en het hout is prachtig.
Wel is het hout wat donker maar ik vind het zelf zeer netjes staan.
Mooi etui erbij.
Uiteraard weer snel en netjes geleverd.
