This **Barebones Hori Hori Classic** is an extremely versatile garden tool. You use it to weed in delicate spots in the garden, cut through roots, saw through thin branches, or plant bulbs at the perfect depth. This Barebones garden knife is a robust version with a walnut wood handle.

## Includes strong sheath

This Barebones Hori Hori comes with a sturdy sheath made from waxed 900D polyester. The sheath has a loop with a press-stud that keeps the knife in place. There is a strong clip on the back so you can easily hang the sheath on your belt. 

## A real all-rounder

The word 'hori' means 'to dig' in Japanese. Not only does this hori hori knife have a sharp cutting edge and a serrated side, but the blade is also hollow, so it can function as a shovel as well. The garden knife has 1-inch markings, so you know exactly how deep you're planting your bulbs. This Barebones garden knife is also equipped with a branch cutter. And because you've earned a beer after a long day of working in the garden, the branch cutter also acts as a bottle opener.

Wat een pracht van een ding. Deze Hori Hori voldoet exact aan de verwachtingen. Een schep, een mes, een schepmes of messchep. In de moestuin onmisbaar. 
Voordelen: Dankzij de foedraal handig mee te nemen aan de broek. Deze bied ook bescherming tegen dit vlijmscherpe messchep.
Sterk en stevig design doordat het blad helemaal doorloopt in het handvat. Dus geen gebroken handvat als je iets te hardhandig los probeert te wrikken.
Nadeel: Door de scherpte beschadig je het riempje van de foedraal tijdens in en uithalen. Dit is echter met een beetje oplettendheid geen groot issue.
AL met al een goede degelijke tool dat zeker het geld waard is.


I looked at lots of Hori Hori’s and decided on this one as the best for the price point. 
I think it’s excellent and would hold its own against pricier ones. The full length tang it has reassuringly solid feel. Looks good and performs very well. String cutter, serrated part and bottle opener all very useful. Never seen in the garden without it!
