I required a one-handed opening sheepsfoot knife for work - I work in a warehouse and am constantly opening packages and pallet-banding and breaking down card and plastic, and single-handed deployment speeds things up remarkably. The opening mechanism is a little tricky to master but after a bit of practice it becomes second nature and you can open and close the knife just with your thumb. I also liked the fact that it is a slip-joint/friction folder combination so you don't have to mess about disengaging a lock. The knife is sturdy, razor sharp and the steel holds a brilliant edge, as card and paper dull a knife edge very rapidly; 440 or some other regular stainless steel would be no good for my job. All in all I am mightily pleased with this knife - and K&T chased up the order that went astray during delivery. Top stuff!
