The **TOPS Knives Tundra Trekker TDTK-01** is a large fixed knife. TOPS calls it 'the Non-Kukri Kukri'. When you look at the shape of the blade you do indeed see the similarities with a classic Kukri-shape. At the same time you can also immediately tell why it is called a Kukri. The spine has been enhanced with a long line of serrations that will enable you to cut through branches.

 The blade is made from classic 1095 carbon steel. Tough, won't break and is easy to sharpen. A perfect choice for an outdoor knife such as this. The blade is enhanced with a Tactical Stone Powder Finish. The handle is slightly bigger than what you might expect with the length of the blade. As such there are many different ways of holding the knife, which benefits the versatility of the Tundra Trekker.

 The sheath of the TOPS Knives Tundra Trekker is made from kydex. When removing the knife from the sheath you need to be careful with the sharp serrations on the spine. To keep the knife in place in the sheath it has been enhanced with a flexible strap with a press stud. This press stud can only be opened in one way. At first this takes some getting used to, but once you have got the hang of it you will realize how clever it is. To carry the sheath on your belt it comes with a leather dangler sheath with a steel ring to make sure the sheath can hinge relative to your belt.
