The **Streamlight SL-20L rechargeable flashlight** is a large and robust light. Thanks to the deep, parabolic reflector this light has a sleek beam with a beam distance of 528 metres! Great when lighting an object from far away. As such the light is great for security guards, janitors, road inspectors or simply those with a large backyard.

The casing of the light is made from anodized aluminium. As such the light is rock-solid, but still lightweight. The lens of the light is made from polycarbonate with a scratch-resistant coating. The lens and screw cap at the base of the light are covered by o-rings. As such the light has an IPX4 rating. This means that the light handle water. As such you can easily use it when it rains. 

## Light modes, light intensity and burn time Streamlight SL-20L:

  * High (450 lumens, 70,000 candela): 3 hours 15 min
  * Medium (225 lumens, 35,000 candela): 5 hours
  * Low (60 lumens, 90.000 candela): 20 hours
  * Strobe (450 lumens): 4.5 hours

## How to control the Streamlight SL-20L

The casing is enhanced with one multi-functional button. Press this button completely once or halfway and the light will start in the brightest mode. Release or press again to turn the light off. To change between light modes you press the button completely and hold it. The light will automatically switch between the three light modes: high, medium and low. Release the button once you reach the mode you are looking for. Press the button again to turn the light off. The light will always start with the brightest mode. Press the button twice to activate the strobe-mode.

## Included NiMH battery

The included 5-cell, 6.0 Volt sub-C NiMH battery (nickel metal hydride battery) can be charged up to 1000 times. It takes 9 hours to charge the battery completely. A NiMH battery has some advantages when compared to a lithium-ion battery. These batteries are made to be charged at all times. NiMH batteries are namely not sensitive to overcharging. The battery also won't lose its capacity if the battery is empty. In fact, Streamlight advises to completely charge and discharge the battery before first use. 

## Charging the Streamlight SL-20L

The accessories that come with the light are the battery and a rubber cap to store the battery for a longer period of time. Chargers or charging cables are not included.
