Being UK based, this is more for the collection and for indoor use. With that out of the way, I can say it is probably the perfect piece, if a little expensive. With its duties restricted to opening packages and slicing cardboard, the Maxamet blade will not need re-sharpening for a very, very long time. It arrived with a crazy sharp factory edge too. Overall an excellent knife.
