The **Spyderco Byrd Harrier 2 Wharncliffe** is a handy pocket knife for everyday use. The finger grooves in the handle give you a good grip on the knife. The handle is made from FRN. A light-weight and incredibly strong material. Spyderco enhanced the handle with a texture that offers a lot of grip. As such, the handle won't slide from your hand during use. Great when you spend time in humid surroundings, for instance.

Instead of the classic leaf shape, this blade is a Wharncliffe. This is a variant of the sheepsfoot, but with a straight edge. Perfect for opening boxes. The blade is made from 8Cr13MoV-steel. A good type of steel for daily use that retains its sharpness well. You easily open the blade with the comet-shaped thumb hole after which a backlock mechanism locks the blade. With the deep-carry pocket clip you can easily and discretely carry the knife in your pocket. The serrated edge is perfect when cutting through more rugged materials such as rope or cardboard.

The Byrd knives are a great bang for your buck. Perfect for anyone who doesn't want to spend too much money and is looking for a knife with a great price-quality ratio.
