The **Rough Ryder Toothpick** is a small, traditional pocket knife. Very small, but large enough to open boxes. You open this knife with two hands and a slipjoint prevents accidental closing. As such you can legally carry this pocket knife in many places in Europe.

## 440A steel

440A is a fine, popular type of steel. It is corrosion resistant and easy to sharpen. It won't retain its sharpness for a really long time, but this is compensated by the fact that 440A is quite tough and easy to sharpen. This means you only occasionally have to maintain it a little to make sure you always keep a sharp knife close.

## Copper Bolster, Bone Handle

The handle is made from smooth black bone. That is coloured cow bone. This material has been used for over 100 years for knife handles and has become a *traditional* on its own. Bone, of course, is a natural material. As such small differences in terms of colour and shape, or any other small imperfections may occur. The bolsters are made from copper.
