The blade of the QSP Walrus is made from D2 steel with a blackwashed finish. D2 steel is a high-quality type of steel from the US. It might not be stainless, but it's a very strong type of steel. The steel retains its sharpness extremely well and is pretty easy to sharpen. The blackwashed finish ensures traces of use will barely be visible.
