The **MKM Malga 6** is a high-end pocket knife, in the style of the famous Swiss pocket knives. And yet this knife is produced a little more south: in Maniago, Italy. It is made from amazing materials.

With many of these types of knives the emphasis is placed on the different tools. The type of steel used is never highlighted. MKM turned this around for the Malga 6. The tools are great, but the blade stands out. The blade is made from Böhler M390 Steel. This steel is extremely corrosion-resistant and highly resistant to wear and tear. It retains its sharpness well to make sure you don't have to sharpen it often. As such, the MKM Malga 6 is a top-quality, high-end EDC pocket knife.

The handle also looks amazing. The handle is made from G10, which makes the knife feel particularly firm in hand. G10 is also very strong and lightweight. The material is made from synthetic resin and fibreglass, so it remains beautiful for a long time.

In addition to the blade there are five other foldable tools. A bottle opener with screw driver, a can opener, corkscrew, awl and a fork for during a picnic. All tools can be opened with two hands. They are kept in place by slipjoints. So not a real lock. Only some resistance. As such, the MKM Malga 6 is legal in many countries.

## Where does MKM Knives come from?

MKM is a cooperation between Viper, LionSteel, Fox and Mercury. Four masters working in the Italian knife industry. It is no coincidence that they all come from the city of Maniago in northern Italy. The knife capital of the south of Europe. MKM stands for Maniago Knife Makers. This MKM Malga is made by Mercury.
