The **Medford Infraction** is a cool and popular pocket knife, designed by Greg Medford. What's striking about the Infraction is the remarkable blade. Like other Medford knives the Infraction knife has a hollow grind that is applied by hand. However, the remarkable combination of the finger groove and the thumb hole make this blade unique.

The handle on the Infraction is made from titanium. It features a beautiful pattern, which Medford calls 'Violet Falling Leaf'.

The blade is made from CPM S45VN. The hollow grind on the blade was applied by hand. This is a unique feature: only few producers apply a hollow grind by hand. With the thumb slot you can easily open the blade. At first this might take some getting used to. When opened, a solid framelock keeps the blade securely in place. Medford pressed the stop-pin in the blade. As a result, it rests nice and symmetrically against the handle. This adds strength.

Each Medford knife is made by hand by talented knife makers. Individual differences therefore occur and make each knife unique. It takes approximately one year for Medford to ship their knives.
