The blade has perfect thickness and of course comes factory sharp. It hasn’t any fancy steel or anything else but does what it’s supposed to in a satisfying way. Btw, I wanted a narrower edge and sharpened it by hand, it probably got a great treatment since it was a charm to sharpen. Perfect for any home cook!
