This **Maserin Apollo Wengé 6-piece steak knife set** is a stylish Italian steak knife set with handles made from carbon fibre. These steak knives are not serrated - they have a flat, razor-sharp edge. This allows them to cut through the meat without tearing it, so the meat stays nice and juicy! These slim, graceful steak knives will be the centrepiece of the dinner table and an excellent way to impress your guests!

## Maserin Apollo Wangé handle

The handle is made from Wengé wood. This is a very dark and incredibly strong wood from East Africa. This rare wood has a beautiful grain of dark brown and black lines. It gives the knife a very elegant look. To keep the steak knives beautiful for as long as possible, we do not recommend cleaning them in the dishwasher. Simply wash by hand and then dry with a cloth.

## Maserin Apollo blade

The blades of these steak knives are made from polished 4116N steel. This is a stainless steel that has been hardened to a hardness of around 58 HRC. As a result, the knife retains its sharpness for a long time when used correctly. A serrated knife may remain sharp for a little longer, but it is difficult to sharpen. That is not the case for these knives. You can easily sharpen them yourself if they start to lose some of their sharpness over time. To delay this as long as possible, we recommend serving and cutting the meat on a wooden serving or cutting board.
