This **Maserin Apollo 2411-SA steak knife** is a stylish Italian steak knife with handles made from olive wood. The steak knive is not serrated - it has a flat, razor-sharp edge. This allows you to cut through the meat without tearing it, so the meat stays nice and juicy! This slim, graceful steak knife will be the centrepiece of the dinner table and an excellent way to impress your guests!

## Maserin Apollo Pau Santos handle

The handle is made from Pau Santos wood. Also called Brazilian Blackheart. It is a graceful type of hard wood with a deep brown-red colour and dark pattern. The handle is traditionally, and of course seamlessly, riveted to the blade with three rivets. As such no dirt can accumulate in between the blade and the handle. Despite the fact that it is a strong handle material we still recommend cleaning it by hand. The dishwasher could dull the plastic in the long run, and it could even tear.

## Maserin Apollo blade

The blade of this steak knife is made from 4116N steel. This is a stainless steel that has been hardened to a hardness of around 58 HRC. As a result, the knife retains its sharpness for a long time when used correctly. You can easily sharpen it yourself if it start to lose some of the sharpness over time. To delay this as long as possible, we recommend serving and cutting the meat on a wooden serving or cutting board.
