The **Liong Mah KUF V2 Kitchen Utility Folder** is a large pocket knife, designed as a foldable kitchen knife. Take it with you to peel an apple. During a BBQ as the perfect steak knife, or during hikes and picnics as an all-round kitchen knife. The flat-grind blade is very thin behind the edge. As such it is easy to use. While some pocket knives are a little thicker there, and you notice it when cutting through an apple, for instance, that you are 'breaking it with a wedge, the grind on the KUF V2 is perfectly thin.



You can easily open the KUF V2 with the royal thumb hole. Or with the front flipper, which is new on this V2 version of the KUF. With some front flippers it could take some getting used to before you master this system. The shape of the KUF V2, however, is as such that everyone can use it. Because of the ball bearings it will open quickly. Once opened a solid framelock ensures that your fingers are safe.



The titanium handle is enhanced with a stunning micarta inlay. It makes the knife look a little more special. The richly decorated pivot is also a great detail. The blade is made from Böhler M390 steel. An extremely wear resistant type of steel that retains its sharpness well. One of the most popular premium types of steel at the moment. M390 is also stainless. Great when you are dealing with a lot of fruit acids. The shape of the blade might remind you of a K-tip kitchen knife. The end can freely cut over a cutting board, without hitting the handle or the thick part of the blade as would occur with different knives.



All in all, the Liong Mah KUF V2 is an excellent pocket knife. Whether you use it for various culinary tasks, or are simply looking for a cool EDC pocket knife: the KUF V2 can do it all.
