Le Thiers Gentleman amourette T9A pocket knife by Fontenille Pataud

be advised that most images available do not reflect the apparently new design of this model i.e. more squarish handle edges and thinner side plates. the model I received showed cracks in the wood on both sides, with wood splinters gone around the side plates pins. I also noticed a grinding noise/feeling when closing/opening the blade so definitively not up to the quality standard and reputation we are used to from Fontenille Pataud. And I own several from them, all super fine and impeccably made & finished. I hope that this was an exception
