The **Katadyn Combi Filter** is the brand's most versatile water filter. This water filter combines a silver-impregnated ceramic element with a refillable cartridge with active carbon. As such you can use the filter for chemical pollution, but also to prevent bad flavours. Great when you are hiking or travelling. With the included tap and connector set you can also use it in a caravan or holiday home. 

## Katadyn Combi Filter

The filter cleans approximately 1 litre of water per minute and removes bacteria, protozoa and other pathogens. The micro-organisms cannot pass the pores of the filter (0.2 micron) because of their size. The 0.2 micron filter element can be used up to approximately 50.000 litres. 

## This is how you use this water filter:

  1. For each use you need to rinse the filter with a small amount of water (5 - 10 pump movements) Remove this water to prevent bad flavours. 
  2. Submerge the suction hose in untreated water and apply the float in such a way that the sieve does not touch the ground. 
  3. Now secure a PET bottle on the screw wire at the base of the water filter or use the included adapter to secure the filter on a different type of bottle. 
  4. Hold the filter in an upright position and evenly move the pump lever up and down. Make sure the suction hose is not knotted. 
  5. Did you fill the entire bottle? Remove it and take the suction hose from the water. Pump a couple more times to remove any remaining water from the filter. 
  6. Store the filter in the filter bag. To prevent contamination the suction hose cannot come in contact with the drain.
