This **Karesuando Metsämies Hätä** is a handy hand axe for bushcrafting or camping. It weighs only 540 grams, so you can take it with you in your backpack without any problems. It comes with a holster, a diamond sharpener and a firesteel. 

## Axe head

The head of this axe is made from 5CR15MoV stainless steel with a black coating. This type of steel is easy to sharpen and has a hardness of HRC 57. 

## Axe handle

The hand-carved handle of the Karesuando Metsämies Hätä is made from beech wood. The texture on the handle provides better grip when chopping with the axe, even with gloves or wet hands. A piece of reindeer antler has been added to the thicker end to give it a nice finish.

## Karesuando Metsämies Hätä accessories

As mentioned before, this axe comes with a holster, a diamond sharpener and a firesteel. The holster is made from black leather and has a belt loop. This firesteel can be used to make fire roughly 1000 times.
