These **Flytanium Spyderco Manix 2 Scales** are very good after-market accessories for the Spyderco Manix 2. They are well-fitting scales made by the experts at Flytanium.

 These scales are made from brass. It has been enhanced with a stonewashed finish. This means that there are already traces of use to make sure new scratches won't stand out. A *used look*, straight from the box. Take into account that brass will form a patina in time which makes each set unique.

 ## Tips for assembly

 Assembling new scales or other accessories isn't without risk. Always use fitting screwdrivers and never force anything to prevent damage to screws or scales. We prefer to add a piece of a plastic bag in between the bit and the screw to prevent any damage to the screws. If the screws are stuck, it is important not to force them. Carefully heat them with a hairdryer or tap the back of the screwdriver to break the loctite.

 Also check the warranty conditions of the manufacturer before you start: for some brands the warranty expires when you start tinkering with the knife yourself. You add the scales at your own risk. We are not liable for damages that you may cause to the knife or accessory.

Eerst en vooral zoals altijd een uitstekende service en snelle verzending gehad bij K&T. 
De schalen zien er prachtig uit en geven de manix 2 nog wat extra gewicht wat voor mij aangenaam is. 
Het enige min punt dat ik moet aangeven is dat de schalen onmogelijk pasten op de lanyard tube. Dit heb ik opgelost door deze zeer voorzichtig met een ronde vijl ruimer te maken tot het punt dat de tube er net door paste en vast klikte. Dit zou anderzijds niet mogen gebeuren want mensen die niet weten wat ze doen kunnen op deze manier wel de schalen vernielen door het gat te groot te maken. 
De andere gaten voor de schroeven waren wel perfect! 

Verder ben ik uitermate gelukkig met de schalen en maken van de manix een nog beter design.
