Brass Ball Cage Lock to lock the Spyderco Manix 2

This **Flytanium Manix 2 Ball Cage Lock** was specifically made for the locking mechanism of the Spyderco Manix 2. This part replaces the plastic part of the lock that contains the steel ball. Please note that brass will form a patina over time, so each set will have a unique look.

## Tips for installation


Adding new scales or other accessories is not without its risks! To prevent damage to screws and scales, always use suitable screwdrivers and never force anything. We like to add a little piece of plastic bag in between the bit and the screw to help prevent any damage to the screws. If the screws are stuck, it is important not to force them. Carefully heat them with a hairdryer or tap the back of the screwdriver to break the loctite. 


Before you start tinkering, always check the manufacturer's warranty conditions: for some brands, the warranty expires the moment you start working on the knife yourself. Installing accessories is at your own risk. We are not liable for damages that you may cause to the knife or the accessory.

Expensive, but a very nice addition to the Manix 2. The brass looks a lot like gold when it's brand new, which is very beautiful. I highly suggest watching a video on how to partially disassemble the Manix if you have never done it, it will make it much easier, you don't need to disassemble the whole knife.  I noticed after using this brass ball cage that it has changed the sound of the knife, making it a lot less noisy and less clicky than when using the black nylon ball cage.
