These **Flytanium Benchmade Bugout Scales Crossfade** are great after-market accessories for the Benchmade Bugout. They are well-fitting scales made by the experts at Flytanium. The great thing about these scales is that Flytanium didn't simply stick to the outer edge of the old scales, and just left it at that. No: there is also a bevelled finger groove for your index finger. And the holes that, for the original pocket knife, are enhanced with a D-shaped hole to prevent the screws from rotating are also nicely shaped like a D with these scales. Not all after-market scales have this!

These scales are made from carbon fibre. It is wonderfully lightweight and also has a sleek appearance. The great thing about this Crossfade edition is that they are enhanced with stunning and ergonomic contours.

## Tips for installation

Adding new scales or other accessories is not without its risks! To prevent damage to screws and scales, always use suitable screwdrivers and never force anything. We like to add a little piece of plastic bag in between the bit and the screw to help prevent any damage to the screws. If the screws are stuck, it is important not to force them. Carefully heat them with a hairdryer or tap the back of the screwdriver to break the loctite.
