ESEE Model 6 black blade, grey handle 6P with brown sheath + belt clip

I was looking for a new knife and afterconsidering a few I settled on the esse 6.when it arrived my first impression was that this is a very robust tool with solid feel and good weight. It was well sharpened , not shave sharp but a couple of passes on the a trip brought the required edge up. In the field it held its edge well and performed better than expected. After 5 days of wood cutting, batoning and carving it just took a few seconds of stropping to fully refresh the edge a testament to the quality of the steel and tempering. A great medium sized knife that i would recommend to anyone.
