The **Buck 590 Paradigm** is a cool EDC pocket knife with assisted opening. This means that when opening the knife you are assisted by a strong spring. As such it opens quickly!



When opened the blade is locked by a so-called 'Bolster Lock'. A lock you don't see on the knife. And yet, it's there! You namely unlock it by slightly moving the bolster. That is when you can fold the blade back. A remarkable lock that prevents accidental closing. We do have to be frank here and say that because of this special lock it is better suited for right-handed use. Sorry lefties!



The blade is made from premium CPM S35VN steel. An American type of powder steel that retains its sharpness well, is stainless and also easy to sharpen. Due to the heat treatment according to the recipe of the legendary Paul Bos this steel is even better than the steel of some other products. The handle is made from G10.
