The **Bradford Guardian 4** is a good fixed knife for outdoor tasks. From hunting and hiking to bushcraft and survival purposes. It has an 11.8 cm blade and because of the large finger groove, just behind the edge, you have a lot of control over the blade.



The blade is made from Böhler M390 steel. This is an Austrian type of super steel. One of the best high-end choices at the moment. M390 excels when it comes to sharpness retention and corrosion resistance. The handle is made from carbon fibre and 3D shaped. As a result it feels great in hand.



This Bradford Guardian 4 comes in a leather sheath. It is enhanced with a belt loop.

Sehr guter und scharfer Anschliff der Klinge. Super Stahl mit einem tollen Stonewash - Finish. Klingenrücken und Erl sind recht grob bearbeitet (wirkt irgenwie gefeilt oder ausgesägt) - aber das ist wohl typisch und gewollt für Bradford - Messer (und auch irgendwie ein Markenzeichen). Die 3D - Carbon - Griffschalen hingegen sind absolut sauber verarbeitet und fühlen sich angenehm "seidig" an. Der Griff liegt auch sehr gut in der Hand. Der Gesamteindruck wird etwas beeinträchtigt durch die mäßige Qualität der Lederscheide aus der das Messer auch recht leicht herausrutscht (wirkt auf den Produktfotos "wertiger"). Ich werde mir wohl eine passende Kydex dazu besorgen.
Insgesamt aber ein sehr robustes Messer und durchaus eine Kaufempfehlung.
