The **Böker Rangebuster Maroon 110914** is a traditional pocket knife, made in Solingen, Germany. It has the shapes of the Solinger Hippekniep and his American counterpart: the Sod Buster. A knife that was designed for use in the countryside. This amazing edition is still perfect for all farmers, citizens and outdoor enthusiasts. But it is also great as a gentleman's knife thanks to its excellent finish.



While Hippeknieps and Sod Buster are often enhanced with a slipjoint, this Rangebuster is enhanced with a solid backlock. Slightly more secure, and safer for your fingers. You still open it with two hands. The handle is made from micarta and offer you enough grip. The blade is made from Böhler N690 steel. Stainless, tough, easy to sharpen, and it retains its sharpness well. What more could you possibly ask for?

I needed a knife to replace my Gerber work knife, this knife is beautiful and feels well balanced, but it’s too good to be a work knife, so I’ve saved this one for best and ordered a Boker fieldfolder which looks like it might take more of a beating- the gerber was dropped from a 100’ antenna.
