The **Böker Manufaktur Elite Carbon 3.0 140544** > is a top-quality straight razor. Böker has been producing straight razors for over a hundred years and has an excellent reputation in this field. This *straight razor* is made in the Böker workshop in Solingen, Germany.

This straight razor has an extra hollow grind with a ridge. The extra hollow grind gives you an extremely thin edge which is also a little flexible. This razor is amazing to work with but perhaps not as suited for heavy beard growth. The ridge ensures that the spine of the blade is thick enough to be blocked by the handle. In addition, the spine provides support when determining the right sharpening angle while stropping and sharpening.

The handle is made from stunning glossy carbon fibre. On top of the blade, where the thumb is placed, fine ridges will give you extra grip. As such your hand won't slip while shaving. The red G10 liners take care of a nice touch of colour. This gives the knife a tough look and feel.

 ## Solingen 1.2210 carbon steel

Böker selected the famous Solingen carbon steel for this straight razor. Although the technical number 1.2210 might not mean that much to most, the term *Solingen* has an excellent reputation worldwide. You could even say that a part of Solingen's reputation as a knife city is the result of the excellent steel quality. After sharpening it is razor-sharp which leaves you with even softer and more comfortable results.

Très déçu de la part de Boker. Acheté sur ce site car moins chère. La lame présente des éclats sur le tranchant, lame non centrée, chasse mal rivetées. Je comprends pourquoi il était moins chère, j'aurais aimé être prévenu avant l achat.
