This is beautiful and compact traditional folding knife which carries the old time vibe. The used materials as well as the fit and finish are good. The blade centering and the walk and talk are fine. The factory edge is sharp enough for right out of the box use. Regarding the aesthetics, in my personal opinion, the combination of the etched stonewashed finish on the blade and black (blueish) burlap micarta with brass bolsters on the handle is phenomenal. (The stonewashed finish tends to be replaced by natural patina, if ingredients containing acid are often processed and the blade is not cleaned in time.) Regarding the functionality of the knife everything seem fine. The blade (although being O1) keeps a sharp edge satisfactory long time. It should be noted that the edge is quite thick (especially towards the tip) which affects the slicing performance of the knife. The upward ricasso combines with the oval and more of a neutral handle shape really well, providing an extra secure and confidence (e.g. at pinch grip). The handle is slim, but nevertheless very comfortable.

Nice knife well made a bit on the expensive side but they can't make them for buttons I suppose
