The **Bob Kramer by Zwilling Stainless Essential Santoku knife** impresses with the stunning pattern on the blade. A little lighter and more compact than a chef’s knife. The knife effortlessly cuts through vegetables, fruit, meats and fish. Cut, crush and scoop. It is all possible with the multifunctional Santoku.


## Kramer by Zwilling Euro Stainless blade


The knives have a damascus steel blade with a core of SG2 powdered steel. This type of steel is hard and retains its sharpness. Hardened to 63 Rockwell. On top of the hard SG2 core 100 layers of damascus steel were added. The pattern in the damask layer is absolutely unique. It is, after all, one of Bob Kramer’s designs you won’t find on any other type of knife.


## Kramer by Zwilling Euro Stainless handle


The handle is made from micarta: pressed linen with a wood look. The stunning handle definitely fits the blade in terms of design. In addition, micarta is moisture proof and retains its shape. This ensures that the knife and the handle can withstand long-term and intensive use. The handles are secured with stainless steel rivets and finished with a remarkable mosaic pin. A pin completely made by hand in the shape of the Bob Kramer logo.


The knives are completely made by hand in Seki, Japan. As a result each knife is unique.

We measure the sharpening angle ourselves. This value is the angle per side.  So 20º means that the total angle of the edge is 40º. Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
