The **Bestech Platypus BG28** is a cool EDC pocket knife for a great price. The sheepsfoot blade might remind you of the beak of a platypus. It is great when you love to put your thumb on the spine of the blade to apply force. That is what a sheepsfoot excels at.



The handle is made from G10 with a fine pattern. As such you have a lot of grip. The blade is made from K110. You don't hear that often. And yet it is an old acquaintance: similar to D2 steel, but made in Austria by Böhler. Tough, retains its sharpness and is easy to sharpen. Do, however, be careful for rust: K110 is not as corrosion resistant as some stainless types of steel.



You quickly open the Platypus with the flipper or the thumb hole. Your choice! Because of the ball bearings it will move smoothly whichever way you choose. When opened the blade is locked by a solid liner lock that will ensure your fingers are safe.
