The **Benchmade 585 Mini-Barrage Blue Canyon Richlite** was originally designed by Warren Osborne. It has all the features you would expect from a very practical EDC knife. High-grade materials were used to produce a very functional knife with a great assisted opening. The knife can be opened with the Flat Dark Earth thumb studs. The secondary lock ensures your knife stays closed at all times when you carry it in your pocket, and it ensures the knife stays open when you use it. 

## CPM S30V blade

The blade is made from CPM S30V. There's a good reason why Benchmade uses this steel type as often as they do. It's an excellent type of steel that is also easy to sharpen.

## Handle

The handle of this pocket knife is made from zytel. It's resistant to heat, cold, moisture and many other substances and conditions that can usually affect a knife. Perfect for daily use. The shapes in the zytel are mostly there for the design. The inside of the handle contains milled liners that limit the weight of the Mini Barrage. The 585 Mini Barrage is also enhanced with a secondary lock. This locking mechanism locks the saw blade when it's open or closed. Perfect for those who value additional safety. However, you can also choose not to use it.
