The **Bark River Cub Hellfire Maple Burl Mosaic Pins** is a large and cool fixed knife, made by hand in the United States. When you hold the Cub you immediately notice the stunning lines in this design. The ergonomics are perfect, the shape of the handle jaw-dropping. The versatile design of the Bark River Cub is perfect for various tasks. From gutting large game to bushcraft and survival tasks. In our opinion, the Bark River Cub is one of the best fixed knives in our range.

The blade is made from CPM 3CV-steel. A tool steel that is known for its exceptional strength. As such, it won't break and will retain its sharpness well. You do, however, need to be careful with moisture and acids: CPM 3V is not completely stainless. Make sure to clean the knife after use and occasionally apply a drop of oil to keep it in great shape. The edge has been enhanced with a convex grind which you can maintain by stropping it.

The handle is made from Hellfire Maple Burl. A breathtakingly beautiful type of wood. It is extracted from the root wood of a maple and then stabilized with a red resin. As such, the material is sustainable and incredibly beautiful. Bark River has used lovely mosaic pins to secure everything, which is a great detail. A real eye-catcher. 

The Bark River Cub comes with a leather belt sheath (max. belt width 7.0 cm). It can also be worn horizontally.

Bark River Knives makes all of its knives almost entirely by hand. This means that each knife is unique. Especially when working with natural materials, a knife will have a unique look. Therefore, the knife you receive might be subtly different from the product photos. The model and type of material, however, will always be the same.
