The **Bark River Bravo Necker II** is the neck knife version of the famous Bravo. It's a fine, compact knife that is capable of a remarkable amount. As we would expect from Bark River, the Bravo Necker II also feels great in hand. Especially for a knife that is so compact in its sheath.



The blade is made from CPM 154CM, a premium stainless steel that retains its sharpness well. As you'd expect from Bark River, the knife is razor-sharp. The edge has a convex grind that can be maintained by [stropping it](/en/ct/stropping.htm).



The handle is made from Desert Ironwood, a type of hardwood mainly found in the United States and Mexico. It has a distinctive colour and a beautiful grain pattern. This stunning wood makes the knife look extra luxurious. 



The Bark River Bravo Necker II comes with a remarkable leather neck sheath. It has two lanyard eyes that you can loop a neck cord through, so you can discreetly and comfortably carry it around your neck. The Necker also has a strong magnet to ensure it doesn't fall from its sheath. Bark River does however warn that because of the magnet, the knife cannot be worn around your neck if you have a pacemaker. Fortunately it also features a belt loop so you can carry it on your belt (max. belt width: approx. 5.8 cm).




Bark River Knives makes all of its knives almost entirely by hand. This means that each knife is unique. Especially when working with natural materials, a knife may differ from the photos. Therefore the knife you receive might be subtly different from the product photos. The model and type of material, however, will always be the same.
