The **Autine Damascus Bushcrafter** is a stunning bushcraft knife that is made by hand in Latvia. Super cool, and also super practical to use. It'll be the centrepiece of your knife collection.


The blade is made from Damascus steel, forged from 240 layers of carbon steel and nickel steel. Breathtakingly beautiful, but also very functional. The blade is hardened to 61-62HRC. And the heat treatment is something Autine is famous for. You can use amazing steel, but if it isn't hardened properly, the entire knife is worthless. The Damascus steel has excellent sharpness retention. Which you would expect from 62HRC. At the same time, the blade is tough enough to not break or chip. It isn't a stainless steel, but this is easily remedied with a couple drops of oil and a little TLC. With a blade thickness of only 2.6 mm, this knife has a nice thin grind. This gives it fantastic cutting properties. This knife is simply amazing to use. It can be used to cut through many different materials. The Scandi edge is razor-sharp. Another thing Autine is famous for! 



The handle of the Autine Damascus Bushcrafter is made of wenge. This is a dark type of wood with a very nice pattern. In terms of shape, the handle seems fairly simple and straight, but it actually has a subtly wavy shape at the bottom. Almost imperceptible to the eye, but in the hand it makes a world of difference! Autine really excels at these kinds of details.


The Autine Damascus Bushcrafter comes in a leather sheath. It is relatively flexible and will take the shape of the knife after some time.
